We never promised 24/7 cheap electricity – UDA economist.

The United Democratic Alliance economist David Ndii says the Ruto led Gov’t never promised cheap electricity.

“On power bills, we have two choices. Costly power available 24/7, or cheap power available a few hours a day, like SA.” said David Ndii.

In a statement via Twitter, David Ndii has asked those who care to know to peruse their manifesto.

“If you cared to peruse our manifesto, you would have noted that cheap power does not feature in our pledges on electricity.”

In his remarks, Nthiga Mbuya, a social media enthusiasts has hit out at Ndii saying “This pedestrian thinking. We have countries in Africa with cheap power which inturn promote manufacturing and industry in general. high bills doesn’t prevent UDA to work towards lowering tariffs. You should be expounding your plans to lower elec cost not chest thumping!.”

Hon Kabando Wa Kabando shared a section of Kenya Kwanza commitments to Kenya where electricity was among the promises to Kenyans.

“Dkt, actually, KENYA KWANZA manifesto has it, maybe your oversight here?.” Kabando said.
