Ruto, Rigathi meet Cotu officials led by Atwoli.

The President of the republic of Kenyans Dr William Samoe Ruto with Deputy President Rigathi, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, have held consultative meeting with workers representatives led by COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli at State House Kenya, Nairobi.

The meeting centred on discussions on the need to employ more youth, welfare of Diaspora workers, making workplaces safer and more dignified, and the Unions’ role in our affordable housing project and the Universal Health Coverage.

Ruto noted that Trade Unions are engines of change that drive policy making, thereby contributing to equality and inclusive socio-economic development in the society.

“We will continue engaging and partnering with them to create synergy and ease resolution of labour-related issues.”
