Media blog had earlier reported that the Kenya National Examinations Council is seeking to recruit teachers in a 2013/2024 financial year.

In a statement on its Twitter post, KNEC has termed the reports that have since gone viral as fake.

“The announcement below on recruitment is NOT from KNEC.” a tweet from KNEC reads.
