It was established on August 4, 2010, with a mission to transform the lives of young men and women in Kenya as well as to economically empower the communities from which they originate.
It engages in programs such as scholarship, mentorship, counseling, economic empowerment and internships.
President Kenyatta is the patron of the organization.

Ngina is also the proprietor of Green Experience Restaurant in Lari Kiambu, a posh hotel in one of the family’s tea estates.
